Owned by the Sycuan band of Kumeyaay Indians, Sycuan's casino features more than 2,000 slot, video poker and video bingo machines, not to mention 63 gaming tables, a 1,200-seat bingo palace and an elegant 24-table poker room. A Pai Gow room and high-limit table games room are also available. Live concerts and stage production shows are presented in the Showcase Theatre. Dining options range from the buffet at Paipa's Oasis to casual dining at Wachena Falls Cafe and specialty sandwiches at the Sunset Deli.

Sycuan boasts the largest non-smoking room in San Diego, with more than 500 slots, nine table games, a gift shop and its own separate entrance.

Gambling isn't the only game at Sycuan. Just three miles down the road you'll find the picturesque Sycuan Resort. Golf is the main attraction, and the three 18-hole courses are among the most popular (not to mention challenging) courses in San Diego County. Players can choose between two 18-hole championship tracks or the 18-hole par-3 course. Adjacent to the resort are 11 lighted tennis courts and a tennis pro shop. Sycuan is a 30-minute drive east of downtown San Diego. Take I-8 east to the El Cajon Boulevard exit. Go three blocks and make a right on Washington. Follow Washington through El Cajon until it turns into Dehesa Road. Continue on Dehesa Road for five miles, past the Sycuan Resort and follow the signs to Sycuan Casino.
