This cutesy North Park joint keeps things simple. If you're interested in knocking yourself out for the night (or next few days), order a whole pie — thick square cut, or thin circle cut. Thick, means really thick, like dense-loaf-of-bread thick, but it's not the terrible foam dough served up by those notorious chains.

Whole pizzas range from about $14 to $23 depending on your toppings, and they offer a few specialties like The Thing (as in, with everything) and The VegiEpisodi. Slices start at $1.75.

Tattooed guy behind the counter is super chill and seems to run the place with one other guy. If you come by the right time of year, be prepared to fight one of those Statue of Liberty tax guys to make your way in. Sicilian Thing is cash only, but they have an ATM.

Pizza takes about 10 to 15 minutes to warm up in their oven.

Don't leave without a cannoli. Duh.
