Before downtown's rebirth as a happening center of urban-chic, 4th & B was one of the only names in town. The venue, housed in a former bank, was no-frills -- ugly even -- but drew plenty of mid-level bands and comedy acts. When House of Blues opened nearby, the demise of 4th & B seemed imminent. But instead of quietly leaving the scene, 4th & B has aimed for a comeback with a complete overhaul of its dated interior.
Parking can be a slight problem, street parking is free after 6 p.m. if you can find a space. There are also many ACE lots in the area willing to take your 10 bucks in exchange for a hassle free spot.

The box office is only open MWF from 10 to 4 and an hour before shows. I wish you'd had the info correct. I drove 20 miles and got there at 4:15 on a Monday. Nice.
