"I Could Write a Book" is what Drew Andrews, 29, has christened his new EP, a collection of songs from his recent 20-day, 15-city whirl around Europe with Album Leaf bandmates Matt Resovich and Andy Pates.
Writing a book would be easy for the local musician at this point. His adoptive parents planted him in front of a piano when he was age 2. As a teenager, he discovered his birth father, Sven-Erik Seaholm, a musician as well, who soon became his mentor, friend and eventually co-producer.
His role in local bands Via Satellite and the Album Leaf have taken him to all corners of the U.S. and to Japan four times. More recently, he's penned his first solo effort, the upcoming "Only Mirrors," which he assembled with little more than a nylon-string guitar.
