Short for Cansei de Ser Sexy, which is Portuguese for "tired of being sexy," CSS is a Sao Paolo band that released their self-titled album on Sup Pop in 2005, followed by "Donkey" in 2008. With a name taken from a Beyonce quote, songs called "Alcohol," and lyrics like suck, suck, suck my art-hole, CSS is at once soaking up and spitting out popular culture. The band's driving, synthy beats, thick accents and stage antics — expect stage diving and confetti throwing at the very least — are perfect for living in the moment at a live show.
